BUILT by Andre's Customs
1960 FORD STARLINER

OWNER: Kevin Grani

In an e-mail to us Kevin Grani Stated;
" The steering was like my late model car, nice and smooth."

Andre's Customs installed one of our Power
Rack and Pinion conversions into this 1960 Ford
Starliner. An IDIDIT tilt steering column and a pair
of BAER 13" inch disc brakes also make this car
a great driving and braking vechicle

Andre's report was,"The car drove just GREAT!, and there
was absolutely no bump steer present,  even when driven
on marginal or ROUGH roads".  He loved the 3 1/2 turns lock
to lock steering ratio. Andre also said " The steering had great
road feel without being twitchy or too light at the steering
wheel".

WE'RE IN THE OCTOBER '05 ISSUE OF CUSTOM RODDER

Kevin' Grani's Starliner is in the Sept. '05 issue of
CUSTOM RODDER

Kevin Lee, Editor of ROD & CUSTOM
mentions us on the UP FRONT page in the current issue.
We will be sending one of our power rack conversions
along with a custom built IDIDIT steering column for his
63 Ford Country Squire Wagon.

The July '05 issue of CUSTOM RODDER has a
four page feature article on our power rack & pinion.

SOLD!
$5,500,000

If you you were watching the Barrett-Jackson Scotsdale auction  January 2007 then you witnessed
this Cobra sell for 5 1/2 Million dollars. Back in 1980-1981 I restored this car for song
writer Jimmy Webb who purchased it from Shelby himself. To view some of the restoration
pictures click here.
